Kelly Jones-Waller, a Clearwater Consulting Group Associate, is a leadership effectiveness coach and strategist, works with organizations, teams and individuals to create lasting sustainable behavioral change by focusing on what matters most – simultaneously achieving professional results and personal fulfillment in a constantly evolving environment. As a professional certified coach, trainer and leadership strategist, Kelly combines twelve plus years of sales, marketing and strategic planning expertise with more than nine years of co-active® coaching to design and facilitate programs in coaching and communication skills; teambuilding and intervention; and leadership effectiveness high potential and mid to senior executives. As well she provides one-on-one coaching corporate executives and leaders. Kelly is also a senior faculty trainer for The Coaches Training Institute (CTI), a foremost authority in professional coach training; Kelly leads the core curriculum and certification program of Co-Active™ coaching skills for new coaches as well as corporate leaders nationally and internationally.
Her clients have included Levi Strauss & Co., Marriott, Microsoft, IBM, Pepsi Co., Bonnell Aluminum, Merck Pharmaceuticals, UCB Pharmaceuticals, W.L. Gore, RBC (Royal Bank of Canada), The Florida Black Business Investment Board, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, the Thomasville Community Resource Center, Union County Schools – North Carolina, and Cool Girls, Inc. and Communities In Schools of Atlanta.
Prior to her career in coaching, Kelly held various positions in the apparel industry from sales to merchandising and marketing management for Levi Strauss & Co. In her most recent position, she maximized a $1.0 million marketing budget that resulted in more than $150 million in annual sales. Kelly’s career began in direct mail advertising with Macy’s South Department Stores headquartered at the time in Atlanta, GA.
In 2001 Kelly Jones received Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) distinction from The Coaches Training Institute. In 2005 she received her credentials of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coach Federation, the international governing body of coaching. She is also a graduate from the Co-Active Spaces Leadership Program, an intensive year long life changing leadership development program. She is also trained in Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaching through the Center for Right Relationship. She is an authorized facilitator of the Team Diagnostic™ Assessment, a Team Coaching International assessment tool that measures a team’s level of positivity and productivity as an indicator of system success. Kelly earned Bachelors of Science in Management and Marketing in 1988 from A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.
In 2005 she served as Co-President of the Georgia Coach Association (GCA); in 2003-2004 she was the award winning Vice President of Community Service for her work with Cool Girls, Inc. She was the 2008 Co-Chair of the GCA PRISM Showcase Event that highlights coaching excellence within organizations. In addition, that year she received the GCA Augusta Horsey Nash Service award for outstanding commitment and service to the coaching community. She is also a member of the International Coach Federation.
